HTX Plans Service Restoration 'Within 24 Hours' Following $30 Million Hack

< SmartBot Blog

HTX, formerly Huobi Global, experienced a $30 million exploit on Nov. 22, prompting the suspension of deposits and withdrawals. The exchange plans to resume services within 24 hours, vowing to fully compensate affected users. Despite the attack on both its exchange hot wallets and the HTX Eco (HECO) Chain bridge, HTX assures users that the incident had a minimal impact on its overall operations. This marks the fourth hacking incident involving HTX and other entities linked to Chinese entrepreneur Justin Sun in the past two months, with investigations underway and a $10 million white hat bounty for the Poloniex exploit still open.
